I am the pastor of Calvary Chapel Cajabamba located in the mountains of Peru. I was called out to the mission field back in 2007. God opened doors for my wife and daughter and i to serve in Lurin, Peru. After serving there for two years, God brought us back to South Florida for a couple more years. In 2012 God began stirring in my heart the desire to head back out on the mission field. He started nudging us towards Cartagena Colombia, but he soon closed that door and opened another one. This time, he led us to Lima, Peru, to help a pastor   there. While already living in Lima and serving at this church, the pastor asked me to lead  a missions trip to Cajabamba, Peru. I had never been there, but I knew my wife had been born there. The missions trip was such a blessing to all involved and especially to me because it was through that trip that i recognized the deep need the people had for the gospel. So many people had gotten saved through the outreaches we had done but there was no church or pastor to send them too. That is where God called me. He had given me such a heavy burden for these people and even though i was very hesitant, i knew He was telling me to go. So in April 2013, we moved out there and on May 5th we had our first church service.
