What to Expect...
We are so glad you are thinking about joining us at Coast Hills!
Here is a basic idea of what to expect on a Sunday morning.
Wear whatever is comfortable. Anything from shorts and t-shirts to button downs and slacks are always fine.
You will usually find some friendly faces waving as you enter off of Pursuit.
Find a parking spot, and follow the people to the front entrance.
As you enter, be sure to say hi to our greeters. They love to see new people!
If you have kids, Kid LIFE is on your left as you enter the lobby.
Friendly volunteers are there to help you check in your kids from babies to 5th grade. Kids have a blast with engaging worship music, a Bible lesson for their level, group discussion times for older kids, and always fun activities.
If you have a junior high or high school student,
they join the adults in the main sanctuary at the 9am service but at 11 am they join just for the worship. After worship, they are excused into the lobby where our leaders will take them upstairs to the Student LIFE area. Students hear a message similar to what the adults are learning, but for their own age.
After the message, students often have a short, small group discussion time. Student LIFE is a welcoming space for everyone to learn about God and make good friends. (Student LIFE also meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm.)
If you don’t have kids to drop off, just come into the main sanctuary.
The lights are low so you can connect in worship. The music is upbeat and vibrant. The message is usually a verse-by-verse teaching straight from the Bible. The message is about 40 minutes. Pastor Jason often has some key points in the message if you like to take notes. He also gives ideas for how to apply God’s word to our lives.
The entire service is about 80 minutes in length.
Afterwards, don't run out too soon. Take time to say hello and meet someone while you enjoy a cup of good coffee and a yummy donut.
