Local Outreach

...You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Acts 1:8b

Local outreach is a great way to be a witness for Christ. Come and serve with one of the ministries below. You will be blessed as you serve Jesus and bless others in our community.

Local Outreach Ministries

34 Stitches

34 Stitches uses art to create personal designs on hats as a bridge to connect with young people. Through this connection, we gain the opportunity to share stories of brokenness and pain in order to inspire purpose, offer hope, and encourage healthy choices for each person. 34 Stitches seeks to serve men and women impacted by addiction through supporting causes that provide recovery, education, and activities that promote healthy choices, all while helping young people navigate their own decisions.

Armor of Light

Armor of Light is a volunteer based non-profit which serves the military through outreach events, counseling, teaching, and practical support. There are 300+ support and volunteer opportunities available each year, both locally and at the bases. Volunteer registration is required.

Food Pantry

The Coast Hills Food Pantry is a multi-faceted ministry that offers assistance to families in our area and neighboring communities who struggle to put food on their table. Come join us on any Saturday as we strive to love our local families! We currently meet the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at Coast Hills Church from 8-10 a.m., the 2nd Saturday at Camp Pendleton from 9:30-10:30 a.m., and the 4th Saturday in Santa Ana from 9-10:30 a.m.

MentorUp

Mentor UP is a Christian ministry that meets on Monday afternoons at Coast Hills Church. Fatherless boys ages 8 to 18 receive a meal, games, sports, a Bible study and life mentoring as well as outings to the beach, bowling, movies and miniature golf. Mentors also sometimes attend special events in the boy’s lives.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse Group is a group of champions who serve the adults with special needs in our community by creating a place to build lifelong friendships, fellowships and fun to give them a fulfilling life and a place to continue to develop and grow.

Heart & Home

Heart and Home supports families as they endeavor to be living metaphors of the fundamental gospel truth – that we as believers are former orphans adopted by God; we are His sons and daughters, grafted into the family tree of faith through Jesus Christ.
